Remarks

MSc program is not open for admission.

The Master of Engineering program in Robotics and Embodied AI (REAI) is designed to meet the growing demand for professionals who can develop and deploy intelligent systems that seamlessly integrate artificial intelligence with physical-world interaction. As the field evolves beyond traditional robotics and standalone AI, the program focuses on Embodied AI, where perception, learning, control, and action work together in real-world environments. The unique two-year full-time program combines rigorous academic training with an extended industry internship, enabling students to gain both strong theoretical foundations and hands-on experience through the internship in developing and deploying next-generation robotic and embodied AI systems.

On successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

  1. Apply advanced principles of robotics, control, perception, and embodied artificial intelligence to the design and implementation of intelligent robotic systems operating in real-world environments.
  2. Integrate sensing, learning, and control components into coherent robotic systems, and evaluate their performance and robustness through appropriate analytical and experimental methods.
  3. Design and implement embodied AI algorithms and robotic solutions to address openended engineering problems using system-level thinking and interdisciplinary knowledge.
  4. Communicate technical concepts, design outcomes, and experimental results effectively in written and oral forms, while demonstrating professional, ethical, and safety awareness in robotics and embodied AI applications.
  5. Deliver an industry- or practice-based robotics/embodied AI project by translating real-world requirements into system design, implementation, integration, and validation under practical constraints.
  6. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary academic and industry teams, and manage project planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication to meet professional standards.
