The Master of Science in Information and Cyber Security Management program is designed to serve as a beacon of excellence in preparing students to navigate the intricate landscape of Cyber Security policies and frameworks within organizations. At the heart of our program lies a unique fusion of managerial acumen and technical expertise, ensuring that our graduates are equipped to tackle the multifaceted challenges of the digital era with finesse and proficiency.
Our program's emphasis on industry relevance and practicality ensures that students are not just academically proficient but also industry-ready upon graduation. Through collaborations with leading practitioners, hands-on projects, and immersive learning experiences, our students explore different aspects of the Information and Cyber Security Management area and eventually effectively drive organizations to withstand cyber threats.

On successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to:
- Identify, assess, and prioritize cyber security risks within an organization.
- Articulate the principles of information asset classification and protection.
- Integrate effective information security strategy and policies with organizations’ mission and vision.
- Manage the development process of secure information systems in an organization.
- Apply the legal and regulatory frameworks governing cyber security to the practice of information and cyber security management.
- Examine organizational security postures and compliance with industry standards by conducting appropriate cyber security auditing techniques.
- Formulate incident response plans and procedures to effectively mitigate and manage cyber security incidents.
- Effectively communicate with technical teams, upper management, and third parties involved in organizational cyber security management.

Subject to the approval of the Academic Director, students may apply for credit transfer and/or course substitution of no more than 4 courses (8 credits) in the program.

A list of electives offered in a particular year will be announced at the beginning of each intake. The elective courses are a selection of information and cyber security management courses chosen from the portfolio of the School of Business and Management. Students may take any other courses approved by the Academic Director.
All students (full-time and part-time) are allowed to take up to 4 additional credits of electives (on top of the graduation requirement of 30 credits).

To qualify for admission, applicants must meet all of the following requirements. Admission is selective and meeting these minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Applicants seeking admission to a master's degree program should have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, or an approved equivalent qualification.
Applicants have to fulfill English Language requirements with one of the following proficiency attainments:

TOEFL-Revised paper-delivered test: 60 (total scores for Reading, Listening and Writing sections)

IELTS (Academic Module): Overall score: 6.5 and All sub-score: 5.5 *

Applicants are not required to present TOEFL or IELTS score if

their first language is English, or

they obtained the bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an institution where the medium of instruction was English.
- Applicants are highly recommended to have a satisfactory GMAT or GRE score.
- Applicants should demonstrate a keen interest in information and cyber security management. Relevant undergraduate degrees, such as computer science, information systems, AI, and data analytics, would be an advantage.
- For the full-time program, relevant work or business experience will add weight to the application under consideration. For the part-time program, two years of full-time relevant post-qualification work experience would be an advantage.
